The Route Planner already showed you a real map, live congestion coloring, and a driving-time estimate from OneMap SG. Two more pieces just landed: estimated ERP cost and parking near your destination.
Estimated ERP cost
Pick a route, pick your vehicle type, and you'll now see an "Estimated ERP cost" alongside the congestion breakdown — the sum of every ERP gantry your route is likely to pass, at today's rates, for right now.
Worth being upfront about how this works and where it falls short:
- It's matched against known gantry locations, sourced from LTA's own official gantry geodata. Coverage is currently 58 of 78 gantries (74%), including all but 3 of the 39 CBD/Orchard cordon gantries — the case that matters most for most trips. The gap is disclosed as a live count on the page itself, not hidden.
- It assumes you depart right now for every gantry on the route, not the time you'd actually reach each one further along a longer trip.
- It's a floor, not a guarantee — a genuinely incomplete estimate is more honest than a falsely precise one, so gantries with no location data are left out entirely rather than guessed at.
Parking near your destination
Once a route resolves, a "Parking near your destination" section shows the 3 closest carparks to where you're headed, ranked by straight-line distance, with live lot availability and rates where known — the same carpark data already used by the standalone Parking search, just automatically scoped to your destination instead of you having to search for it separately.
Both features build directly on top of this app's existing ERP Rates and Parking data — nothing new to register for, nothing that needs a fresh account or token.
